LOOM, a new green landmark in the European Quarter of Brussels

With LOOM, CIT Blaton, commissioned by Befimmo, is realizing an ambitious transformation project that gives three existing buildings a new and sustainable future perspective in the heart of the European Quarter in Brussels.

The project of approximately 24,000 m² combines flexible office spaces, 48 coliving units, various amenities, and a spacious inner courtyard that functions as a green lung within the urban fabric. In this way, LOOM creates an inspiring place where working, living, and meeting come together.

Sustainability forms the core of the project. By making maximum use of existing structures and recovering or reusing materials, LOOM is being developed according to the principles of the circular economy.

For this project, Cominotto NV also developed an exclusive custom Terrazzo color for the stairs, the ground floor, and the Foyer in close collaboration with Beffimo and Architect DDS+.

This unique materialization reinforces the architectural identity of the project and underscores the attention to detail and craftsmanship.

With LOOM, CIT Blaton takes a new step in sustainable and innovative urban development in Brussels.

Cominotto NV will be happy to share project detail photos with you after completion.
